Prophecy Update 2017-12-10

-For today’s prophecy update, I want to talk about the prophetic implication of the President’s declaration concerning Jerusalem. -I would suggest the President officially and formally establishing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is more prophetic than historic. -The reason being is because of where doing so will lead, such that, this now has the potential of speeding things up, as it were.

-I’m hoping that you’ll kindly indulge me as I present a plausible scenario, subsequent to this significant prophetic development. -What follows is based on some of the specific details in prophecies like Zechariah 12, 1 Thessalonians 5:3, and Daniel 9:27. -Specifically, Zechariah 12 related to Jerusalem, 1 Thessalonians 5:3 the “two-state solution,” and Daniel 9:27, the peace deal.

-Because we took an in depth look at Zechariah 12 last week, I’ll proceed with the presupposition that you know what it’s about. -Simply put, the world’s intoxicating obsession with dividing Jerusalem is the catalyst for two states living in peace and security. -This insatiable quest for peace and security between Jews and the so-called Palestinians may be realized vis-à-vis Daniel 9:27.

I’ll start with this Jerusalem Post article on Friday about the Security Council now pushing Trump for a detailed Mideast peace proposal. Here are a few interesting excerpts, “Britain, France, Germany, Sweden and Italy called on the United States on Friday to put forward detailed proposals for peace between Israel and the Palestinians and described as "unhelpful" a decision by President Donald Trump to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. … In a joint statement after the meeting, they said, "We stand ready to contribute to all credible efforts to restart the peace process, on the basis of internationally agreed parameters, leading to a two-State solution," … "We encourage the US Administration to now bring forward detailed proposals for an Israel-Palestinian settlement." … US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said, "Our actions are intended to help advance the cause of peace," she said. "We believe we might be closer to that goal than ever before." http://www.jpost.com/printarticle.aspx?id=517496

This notion of being closer to said peace deal than ever before seems to comport with this RT report in which Secretary of State Rex Tillerson hinted that a dealt to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict can come in one fell swoop. -The US secretary of state believes he can resolve the decades-old conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors in a single 'deal of the century.' Moscow is waiting with bated breath to hear the details of the plan… https://www.rt.com/news/412430-lavrov-jerusalem-move-tillerson/

It’s my belief that Russia isn’t the only ones holding their breath; Israel is as well by virtue of what may come packaged with all of this. Consider this Jews News column by Jack Engelhard in which he asks the question of, Does Israel really want this Christmas present from President Trump?” Here’s some of what he had to say, “Okay…okay…okay. Joy to the world. … President Trump will announce that the US Embassy will, finally, be relocated to Jerusalem …just in time for Christmas, or our Hanukkah, there will be dancing. Not me. …Readers of this column over the past years know darned well that I would like nothing better. It would be a dream come true. Also maybe a nightmare. I noted all that back in June in a column titled, “Amen to moving US Embassy to Jerusalem – but at what price?” In other words, under what terms and conditions will this gift be made? I presented it like this back then, but it’s even more important now amid all the excitement? Here’s partly what I wrote: “I can’t imagine such a transaction in Israel’s favor coming without a bill. …I noted then, and do so again, that Trump does not worry me. Jerusalem is the right place and Trump’s heart is in the right place. His advisors, still in 2-state solution mode, are the worry. https://www.jewsnews.co.il/2017/12/05/does-israel-really-want-this-christmas-present-from-president-trump.html

It’s important to understand that any peace agreement/two-state solution has to not only include Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, it must also include the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple. Consider this Breaking Israel News titled, “Trump’s Jerusalem Declaration ‘Enormous Step Towards Bringing Third Temple’”. Quoting the article, “President Donald Trump’s epic proclamation on Wednesday acknowledging Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the Jewish people was a major step towards establishing the Third Temple and bringing the Messianic era, said a number of Jewish activists working to rebuild the Holy Temple. https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/99002/trumps-jerusalem-declaration-next-step-third-temple/#0MAJ5u4xj1HPmF7q.99

-It’s the rebuilding of the Temple that I believe will seal the deal for Israel given that they will give anything for that to take place. -This is what everything comes down to for Jerusalem and the temple mount, which today is controlled by the Gentiles/Muslims. -Actually, this is a fulfillment of a prophecy that’s found in Revelation 11:1-2 describing the Gentiles trampling on it for 3 ½ years.

-It’s important to understand that all three of the world’s main religions lay claims to Jerusalem, however, only two are legitimate. -I’m speaking of course about Judaism and Christianity both of which are legitimate, which makes Islam claim totally illegitimate. -The fact of the matter is Jerusalem isn’t mentioned even once in the Qur’an despite attempts by Muslims to interpret otherwise.

-While the Qur’an doesn’t mention Jerusalem one time, the Bible mentions Jerusalem 806 times, 660-Old Testament, 146-New. -To me, the question that needs to be asked is why. Why is dividing Jerusalem the intoxicating obsession of the entire world? -To answer this why question, we need look no further than to the pages of Holy Writ where we find that God put His name on it.

-If you’ll permit me to for the remainder of our time together, I’ll explain how God has put His name of ownership on Jerusalem. -God not only put His name of ownership on Jerusalem literally, He has also put His name of ownership on His people eternally. -One of the highest blessings you can place on someone in the Middle East, is to pronounce and declare God’s name on you.
