-For today’s update, I’m compelled to talk about the rise of Islam, and the roll of Islam, in the last days leading up to the rapture and 2nd coming. -The Lord has really opened my eyes, as of late, and in so doing, He’s shown me some very profound things as it relates to this false religion. -Actually, it seems from the beginning of Islam, to the end of Islam, there’s this coming full circle, in how it plays into the final prophetic program.
-I’ve organized this into three sections but we’ll do it in two parts. Today, we’ll look at the past and present, then next week the future of Islam. -However, before we begin I think it’s incumbent on me to dispel a commonly held myth about Islam as it relates to the Arab people, my people. -The myth is all Muslims are Arabs. It comes packaged with all Arab’s being terrorists. Not all Muslims are Arabs, nor are all Muslims terrorists.
-While not all Muslims are terrorists, all terrorists are Muslims. Furthermore, just because you’re from the Middle-East doesn’t make you an Arab. -In Egypt they’re Egyptians, in Iran they’re Persians, in Iraq they’re Babylonians, in Turkey they’re Turks; in Israel they’re Palestinians, so-called. -The common denominator with all these nations is Islam, and to understand why it is, one must understand how it is that Islam came to be.
-So, with that as the backdrop, let’s take and tackle the topic of Islam’s past by looking at when it began, the way it began and by whom it began. -Now, in order to do that, I’ll paint the canvass with a broad brush and, by way of introduction, give you a total of ten fast facts concerning Islam.

1. Muhammad founded Islam in the 7th Century A.D. 2. He claims that, in the year 610 AD, at age 40, he received the first in a series of revelations from the angel Gabriel. 3. Muslims say that Muhammad would receive these revelations while having convulsions, heavy perspiration, and foaming at the mouth. 4. In spite of this, he claims that these revelations were coming from an angel of light. 5. These revelations would become the writings of the Islamic holy book, the Qur’an. 6. Muhammad saw Islam as a catalyst to bring Christians and Jews together as one religion however, he was met with total failure. 7. It was for this reason that Muhammad would later kill Jews and Christians, by beheading them. 8. This is what would eventually lead Islam to be known as the religion of the sword. 9. In 628 A.D., Muhammad received a revelation and declares that by force and submission, Islam was to be the only true religion. 10. In 632 A.D. Muhammad dies, but not before leaving an indelible mark on the Arab people and their culture.

-With that basic understanding of its history, we can springboard from the platform of Islam’s past and conduct an examination of Islam presently. -Right here, present day, in these beloved Islands of Hawaii, Islam is spreading, and I’m of the belief it will continue to spread in the days ahead. -Just two years ago, back on May 6th of 2009, the Hawaii State Senate approved a bill to proclaim and celebrate September 24th as “Islam Day!”
-This Associated Press headline sort of says it all by asking; “Did you say ‘Aloha’ or ‘Allah?’” as they report how the bill passed on a 22-3 vote. -A Fox News report on the same day quoted one Republican Senator saying; “the U.S. has become too sympathetic toward Islamic extremists.” -Perhaps it goes without saying, but Islam is seemingly on the road to success in their terroristic quest for world dominance as evidenced here.
-Its interesting to note that the Hollywood Reality TV craze has taken notice and recently aired the show on TLC titled; “All-American Muslim” -If you have seen the YouTube video titled; “Muslim Demographics,” you’re well aware of how Islam will dominate the world with their birth rate.
The documentary states how; “The Catholic church recently reported that Islam has just surpassed their membership numbers. Some studies show that at Islam’s current rate of growth, in five to seven years, it will be the dominant religion of the world!” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-3X5hIFXYU

-This is interesting for a number of reasons not the least of which is that Catholicism has a rather cozy relationship and courtship with Islam. -I find it even more interesting that Coexist has the Islam’s crescent moon as the C at the beginning and the Catholic cross as the T at the end.
-Last Sunday, a brother shared with me this symbol from a Catholic News Service publication, which has, interestingly, four stars at the center. -It’s peculiar at best that they have striking similarities even suggesting that the four stars may be adding Mary as Co-Redemptrix to the trinity.

Dave Hunt, in his outstanding classic; “The Women Who Rides the Beast” quotes “Bishop Fulton J. Sheen who wrote an interesting book Titled; “Mary and the Muslims, The World’s First Love,” in which he predicted that Islam would be converted to Christianity ‘through a summoning of the Muslims to a veneration of the Mother of God.’ He reasoned thus: ‘The Qur’an… has many passages covering the Blessed Virgin. First of all, the Qur’an believes in her Immaculate Conception and also in her Virgin Birth… Mary, then, is for the Muslims the true Sayyida, or Lady. The only possible serious rival to her in their creed would be Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed himself. But after the death of Fatima, Mohammed wrote: ‘Thou shalt be the most blessed of all the women in Paradise, after Mary.’”

-It should come as no surprise that then Pope John Paul the 2nd, pictured here kissing the Qur’an, would have such a veneration of Islam. -Please note that this photograph was taken in Rome, when Pope John Paul the 2nd, received the Chaldean Patriarch of Babylon, of all places. -All of this sort of begs the question of how close we are to the rapture, given the swiftness with which everything is even now, coming to pass.

Romans 13:11-12 11 And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. NIV
