-For today’s prophecy update I’ll attempt to peel back the prophetic layers as it were and get to what I believe is the core issue of Bible Prophecy. -I see Bible Prophecy as being multi-layered in the sense that there are so many prophecies in the Bible, which really point to one simple truth. -That simple truth is, it’s all about Israel, and the God of Israel. I realize that this can be perceived as rather provocative coming from an Arab.

-However, it’s all going to come down to Israel, and it’s all going to go down in Israel, who is even now the central focal point of the entire world.

Zechariah 12:1-3 NIV This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: (2) "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. (3) On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.

-The prophet Zechariah gives us a prophetic revelation as it relates to the past present and future of the nation of Israel and her coming Messiah. -In chapter 13, he records the cleansing of the nation of Israel from their sin, and in chapter 14 he describes the Second coming of their Messiah. -There’s an interesting prophetic pre-requisite before the Messiah can come. Israel must first look unto their true Messiah and mourn for Him.

Zechariah 12:10 NKJV "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

Hosea 5:15 NKJV I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me."

-In other words on that Palm Sunday almost two thousand years ago you rejected Me but there is coming a day when you will earnestly seek Me. -It’s for this reason that the whole world is so focused on, and obsessed with Israel, and it’s also the reason it’s the core prophecy in the Bible.

-If the truth be known, this obsession with Israel, and more specifically Jerusalem, validates and authenticates that because of Israel, God is real. -The problem is that because God is real, that also means that Satan is real, and if Satan is real, then we’ve got a huge problem on our hands. -From the beginning of time, in the Garden of Eden, starting with Cain and Abel, Satan sought to annihilate and eliminate God’s chosen people.

-Fast forward human history to about six thousand years into our present day; Satan is alive and well on planet earth still trying to destroy Israel. -By the way, it’s not in the way you might think. Satan comes as an angel of light promoting peace and vis-a-vis that peace tries to destroy Israel. -Politically, and prophetically, it’s important to know that Israel will seek to, be attracted to, and agree to enter into that Satanic “peace covenant.”

Since the rebirth of Israel as a nation, she has always sought peace. Back in July of 2006, then Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert addressing the Knesset and the nation after six days of fighting between Israel and Hizbullah stated that he did not want this conflict, but hoped that Israel could soon sign an "eternal covenant of peace" with their Arab neighbors.

Daniel 9:27a NIV He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.'

Daniel 8:24-25 NKJV His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. (25) "Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means.

-Daniel 9:27 tells us what, with whom and for how long the antichrist will confirm this peace agreement, and Daniel 8:24-25 tell us how he does it. -With this core prophecy in the Bible, it would stand to reason that everything is ready to go, and it’s only a matter of time before this will happen. -It seems that the world is now, more than ever, ready to receive this global leader who can finally bring this so called peace to the Middle-East.

-This antichrist, in place of Christ, will be seen as the savior to all of the world’s problems, chief of which are perceived to be economic in nature. -That’s what I mean by peeling back the layers; the core issue isn’t financial, it’s spiritual. But, the financial serves as a catalyst for Satan’s plan.

A number of years ago, the then Prime minister of Belgian and President of the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe, Paul-Henri Spaak was quoted as saying; “What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the economic morass in which we are sinking. Send us such a man and, be he God or the devil, we will receive him.”

On August 19th, 1997, The London Times quoted Jack Lang, the then president of the French National Assembly’s foreign affairs committee, in a speech given in Paris, as saying that; “the European Union needs a single figure at the helm.” He was also quoted as saying that “Europe needed a strong central government with a single ‘personality’ in control.”

-Time doesn’t permit to quote every world leader who has virtually verbatim echoed the same exact cry for such a global figure to be at the helm. -I’ll bring today’s prophecy update in for an abrupt landing on this runway; the return of Jesus Christ for the rapture of the church is ever so close. -The clarion call for everyone who hears these words is; get your affairs in order, loosen your grip on this world and spread the word to the world.
