Prophecy Update 2012-05-20

-Today’s prophecy update is sort of a part two in the sense that we’re going to now connect the dots from last weeks update and fill in the blanks. -Better said, we’re going to take the prophetic puzzle pieces that we put on the table and start putting them into place to see the bigger picture. -What I’d like to do is establish a timeline with the hopes that we’ll all have a better understanding of what happens when, where, and even why.

-So, by way of both review and introduction, let’s revisit and identify the main puzzle pieces, in no particular order, for which there are a total of 7.

1. The Russia/Iran Puzzle Piece: This prophecy foretells an allied attack against Israel who has become wealthy and thinks she dwells safely.

-Perhaps you’ll indulge me for just a moment, as I need to update the update by way of a correction related to Netanyahu and Israel’s elections. -Last week, I had mentioned how that in concert with Putin’s inauguration in Russia, we had the potential for earlier elections to be held in Israel. -There was a dramatic shift, when according to Israel Hayom news, the Likud and Kadima parties joined, forming a national unity government.

Quoting from the news article on Tuesday, May 8th: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kadima Chairman Shaul Mofaz dropped an unprecedented political bombshell early Tuesday, as the two decided to join forces, establish a national unity government, and cancel plans for what only hours earlier had seemed to be an inevitable early election.” http://www.israelhayom.com/site/newsletter_article.php?id=4249

-What so interesting about this is that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu now stands at the helm of the broadest coalition in Israel’s history. -What’s even more fascinating is that it’s believed by some that Netanyahu may actually be a born again believer in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. -Actually, I wondered about this dating back to April 16th, 2001 when Netanyahu spoke at Bob Coy’s church in Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale.

-The implications of this are such that in the event of the rapture, this Shaul Mufaz, pictured here, would take control of Israel’s unity government. -What makes this so fascinating is that the main objective in forming this unity government was in order to strengthen Israel’s position militarily. -Not only does this accomplish that, but, the timing of this is profoundly prophetic, especially given that we are on the cusp of a military strike. -In other words, Israel is keenly aware that her neighbors are gathered against her, and that Iran is threatening to completely annihilate her.

Again, quoting from the article; Netanyahu said his new coalition government would promote a "responsible" peace process with the Palestinians, as well as presenting a “responsible" alternative to the Tal Law’ … “The peace process is stalled because the Palestinians are not willing to resume negotiations," Netanyahu said. He also said the new coalition government would hold serious talks about Iran's nuclear program, although Mofaz has previously spoken out against an Israeli strike on Iran – something that Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are said to support. Netanyahu told the news conference Tuesday that he and Mofaz already have had many discussions about Iran and would continue to hold "serious and responsible" talks on the matter. As a former military chief, Mofaz's opinion could carry great weight in a decision on whether to strike. http://www.israelhayom.com/site/newsletter_article.php?id=4249

2. The Annihilation of Israel Puzzle Piece: This prophecy foretells a different allied attack against Israel with the hope to wipe them off the map.

3. The Palestinian State Puzzle Piece: This prophecy is about the world becoming intoxicated drinking from the cup of a divided Jerusalem.

4. The Destruction of Syria Puzzle Piece: This prophecy foretells how that Damascus Syria will become a pile of rubble within just of one day.

5. The Egypt Uprising Puzzle Piece: This prophecy foretells how Egypt will be riddled by a civil war and be given over to a cruel and fierce king.

6. The Mid-East Peace Puzzle Piece: This prophecy foretells the upcoming Mid-East peace agreement, which will be for a total of seven years.

7. The Anti-Christ Puzzle Piece: This prophecy foretells how a global leader will control a new/one world government, religion, and economy.

-Let’s now put the puzzle pieces together in a chronological order based on the scriptural details that we are given concerning these prophecies. -However, I think I would be grossly remiss were I not to preface this by saying that this represents a plausible scenario in terms of a time-line. -In other words, while for the most part it does seem to fit there are some other possibilities, especially initially, as it relates to what happens next.

-OK, what happens next? I am of the belief that the next prophecy to be fulfilled is the destruction of Syria as foretold by the prophet Isaiah in 17. -Let me hasten to say that if this is the case and it very well could be then it will set in motion the other prophecies by virtue of their proximity to it. -What I mean by that is, it will have “dominoes effect,” in that the instability of the region will create the proverbial, “strike while the iron is hot.”

-The next puzzle piece to put into place may very well be the Psalm 83 prophecy where an Islamic alliance will seek to wipe Israel off of the map. -It’s important to understand that Syria is a proxy of Iran, and Ahmadinejad’s Iran is seeking to annihilate and exterminate Israel vis-à-vis Syria. -Also, I suspect Isaiah 17 and Psalms 83 will happen ever so quickly, in so much that they could actually take place in concert one with the other.

-It’s for this reason that I’m placing our third puzzle piece, which is the Palestinian State prophecy found in Zechariah 12 concerning Jerusalem. -I see this prophecy as the nexus, if you will, namely that it’s under this banner that the entire Middle-East nay, the entire world will attack Israel. -If the truth be known, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaida, et, al, march to the beat of this demonic drum called the Palestinian people and their land.

-It’s not only Isaiah 17, Psalms 83, and Zechariah 12, it’s also our fourth puzzle piece, Isaiah 19, about Egypt, which may be in unison with them. -The reason I’m placing this puzzle piece in this spot is because of the next two puzzle pieces in which all the above are conspicuously absent. -Actually, I see these first three as the catalyst for the next four. By that I mean, it will usher in this pseudo peace, in the face of devastating war.

-Here’s how I get there, and this is also where, we put our fifth puzzle piece into place, which is confirming the seven-year peace agreement. -This is where the anti-Christ, who has not yet controlled the world, that comes next, but at least for now, brings about a Mid-East peace accord. -It will likely be this fulfillment of Daniel 9:27 that causes the whole world to hail him as the savior, namely Israel who sees him as their Messiah.

-This may explain our next puzzle piece, which is the Revelation 13 prophecy foretelling how the anti-Christ will control the entire world by force. -I’m actually going to have this puzzle piece be a part of the Daniel 9:27 prophecy by virtue of how the anti-Christ is the one fulfilling Daniel 9:27. -It may be initially the world fawns over him of their own volition but eventually it becomes mandatory by force as opposed to voluntary by choice.

-This brings us to our final puzzle piece, which is the battle of Gog as it’s called found in Ezekiel 38 foretelling a Russia/Iran led attack on Israel. -I’m placing this prophetic puzzle piece at the end, though not the end in terms of the seven-year tribulation, because of the details written in it. -Chief amongst them being that Israel thinks she dwells in peace and security, and dismantles the walls with their bars and gates as a result. -In addition to this, we have a list of nations by their ancient names, and it’s not so much which nations are listed it’s more, which nations are not.

-This would seem to fit with and explain why, the absence of Syria, Egypt, and all of the above, as Israel’s surrounding and neighboring people. -In other words, these prophecies are fulfilled prior as evidenced by them not being present when the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 are fulfilled. -Also, you may’ve noticed by now that I have not mentioned Iraq and the myriad of prophecies concerning Ancient Babylon. Here’s the reason:

-I’m in the camp with those who still believe in a literal Babylon in a rebuilt Babylon, about fifty miles from the modern day capital of Bagdad, Iraq. -I’ll take it a step further and suggest that the anti-Christ may operate out of Babylon in Iraq as a headquarters, but it’s not the only headquarters. -The reason I believe this to be true is because I cannot get over the fact that Iraq has no economy, no religion, and really no government either.

-Be that as it may, and suffice it to say, Iraq plays a significant role prophetically, however, she too is absent from this Ezekiel prophecy as well. -The significance of this is that the anti-Christ’s rule remains in tact subsequent to the decimation of the Islamic world when God destroys them. -The thought is that as one of the bookends at the beginning of the seven-year tribulation, it would stand to reason that there are still a few years.

-Lastly, you’ll also notice that I did not include the rapture as one of the prophetic puzzle pieces. Here’s why, we don’t know when it will happen. -We don’t know because we can’t know, and we can’t know because no one can know the day or the hour, as it will come like a thief in the night. -That’s not to say, just because we can’t know when it will happen, we can’t know how close we are to when it will happen. That we can know.

1 Thessalonians 5:2, 4 NIV (2) for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. (4) But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

2 Peter 3:10a NIV But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.

Revelation 3:3, 16:15 NIV 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. 15 "Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."
