-For today’s prophecy update I sense the Holy Spirit leading me to revisit something that we’ve looked at and talked about over the last few years. -This because of the almost surreal events of this last week, which were brought to a zenith of sorts with the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony. -I’m ill prepared to go into detail about it, as I’m still processing the enormity and intensity of all the satanic symbolism throughout the ceremony.

-However, I will take just a moment to mention that the whole ceremony looked eerily like a satanic savior was born complete with farm animals. -Not only was the ceremony riddled with dark and demonic ritual, it seemed to mark the arrival of something and or someone onto the world stage. -Let me hasten to say that for us, discernment is a must when it comes to the inordinate amount of information that’s now available on the internet.

-Be that as it may, and perhaps with that discussion better suited for another day, the Lord is leading me to talk about what’s happening today. -By way of introduction, I’ll need to lay the carpet before we start arranging the prophetic furniture, with the hopes that everything is put in its place. -That said, I think I would be remiss were I not to mention how that this particular prophecy is one for which I talk of, with a heart that grieves so.

-What I’m speaking of is the United States as it relates to Bible prophecy, and how it is that the once most powerful nation on earth isn’t mentioned. -It’s for this reason that many prophecy teachers have concluded that something must happen to the United States in order for her to be absent. -The question becomes, what is that something going to be, and in an attempt to answer this, speculation abounds, but nobody knows for sure.

-Whenever it comes to this topic of the United States of America’s conspicuous absence from Bible prophecy, I am prone to waxing sentimental. -Let me explain, my mother and father immigrated to America from the Middle East with their nine-month-old son in tow, and $20 in their pocket. -While both my parents are deceased I did come to find out that the main reason they fled the Middle East was to escape the Islamic oppression.

-I share that to say this, had my parents not come to this great country, that nine-month-old son, who is now 50 years old, may not even be alive. -Needless to say, not only am I grateful for my life here in the United States, I am eternally grateful for my eternal life with my Savior because of it. -This is why I approach the prophecies concerning America ever so carefully and prayerfully. Sadly, this hasn’t always been the case in the past.

-In all my years of studying Bible Prophecy, I've always held onto the hope that the rapture of the church would explain the absence of the US. -While that may still be true, it's starting to look like the US may suffer more first, especially given the geopolitical predicament that we are now in. -Allow me to briefly list what I’ll call “ten attributes,” that I believe may in fact, contribute to, and explain why, the US isn’t mentioned in prophecy.

1. The elimination of private property …and application of all rents of land to public purpose. 2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. 3. The elimination of all rights of inheritance. 4. The confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. 5. The centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly. 6. The centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state. 7. The extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state... 8. The equal obligation of all to work and the establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. 9. The gradual elimination of distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population... 10. The free education for all children in government schools...

-What I just read was from 1848, and it's "The Communist Manifesto" of Karl Marx to bring a socialist dictatorship by means of this political aim. -It comes packaged with centralization, nationalization, and globalization, and I believe it will give way to “The New World Order, of the Anti-Christ. -I’ll take it a step further and submit that the seriousness of Syria, to the peril in America, and everything in between, is creating the perfect-storm.

-If it sounds like I believe there’s a common thread in everything that’s happening, that’s because there’s a common thread in all that’s happening. -I say that because I find myself hard pressed to sign off on everything that’s happening being coincidental, by virtue of Satan running out of time. -This may explain why it’s getting really weird really fast. Is it just me -or is this mass murder in Aurora Colorado getting stranger by the minute.

-Do you realize that me mentioning the Aurora Colorado massacre seems like “old-news” that happened a very long time ago? It was 10 days ago! -To me, this demonstrates the swiftness with which everything that’s happening is happening, and if you can imagine, it’s going to speed up more. -This is why the scriptures are replete with warnings about Satan knowing that he has but a short time, and that Jesus could come at any time.

-By the way, it was only one year ago that a demon-possessed man went on a rampage in Norway murdering a total of seventy-seven people. -The New York Times called him a gun-loving highly religious right-wing fundamentalist Christian, obsessed with the threat of Muslim immigration. -Fast forward to the present, and we have another demon-possessed man who goes on a rampage and massacres 12 people right here in the US.

-It shouldn’t come as any surprise when The Times of India publishes an article that the “Norway Massacre Man had Inspired the Colorado Killer.”

-So, what does this have to do with the US and Bible prophecy? Well, it’s not so much about what has happened as it is about where it will lead. -In other words, this could very well lead to the fourth political aim of the Marxism Manifesto, which is confiscation of property from Christian rebels. -I am keenly aware how one might argue that we’re talking about America, and as such, something like this certainly wouldn’t happen in America.

-For those who are in that camp, may I respectfully recommend to you a very powerful DVD documentary titled; "Agenda,” by Curtis Bowers? -It's subtitled, "Grinding Down America." This video is not for the faint at heart, and I must warn you that it will be an astonishing "eye opener." -Curtis Bowers does a masterful job of documenting, from his research, how the Marxist agenda brings about the collapse of America from within.

-I believe that it’s necessary that something like this happens, within America, by virtue of it being the catalyst to that which happens to America. -Again, the question becomes what is it that happens? I’m still hanging on to the hope that it’s that the rapture happens and it guts out America. -This then begs the question of what if it’s not that? If the rapture gutting out America is not what explains the absence of America, then what is?

In order to answer that, I want to take you back to this JERUSALEM POST quote from Obama's Cairo address on Thursday, June 4th, 2009 -…We have the power to make the world we seek, but only if we have the courage to make a new beginning, keeping in mind what has been written. The Holy Koran tells us: "O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another." The Talmud tells us: "The whole of the Torah is for the purpose of promoting peace." The Holy Bible tells us: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." -I believe the President of the United States, in this Cairo address from three years ago, may have answered the question of what about America. -Could it be that the reason the United States of America isn’t in Bible prophecy is because we’ve denied God and we’ve denied the Word of God? -Listen to this quote from Mark Hitchcock’s book, “The Late Great United States,” because I think that Mark hits the proverbial nail on the head.

“The future of America that we can deduce from Scripture is exactly what we see beginning to materialize before our eyes in today’s headlines. America is encountering serious problems at home and abroad. …When the trumpet sounds and all the believers in the United States vanish, America’s final days will be like so many pages dangling from a December calendar. Like the great powers before it, the United States will collapse under the weight of its own sin, self-indulgence, and excess. In this light, here are [some] conclusions: … 1. It appears that America must remain strong until the end times to continue its defense of Israel as the Jewish state tries to stay afloat in a sea of enemies. 2. The scriptural silence concerning America in the end times (after the Rapture) indicates that America will fall from its position of world prominence. 3. World power in the end times is centered in the reunited Roman Empire (Europe). 4. European prominence can only be explained in light of U.S. decline. 5. The United States will suffer its decline and its fall at the Rapture of the church, probably in combination with a series of other harsh setbacks.”

-I would suggest this series of other harsh setbacks is already happening, and it’s leading to the inevitable demise of the United States of America. -Bear with me for just a moment as I quickly go through a number of recent events that are taxing an unspeakable toll on this once great country. -First, we are still in the wake of an unprecedented heat wave causing one of the worst, if not the worst droughts in the history of the United States.

-Call me silly, but I still think our treatment of Israel is suspect at best! Truly, America has all but turned her back on Israel, God’s chosen people.

I found this Weekly Standard headline titled; “Carney Unable to Identify Capital of Israel” I don’t know if you saw this video, but apparently in a press briefing, White House spokesman Jay Carney was unable (I think unwilling) to identify the capital of Israel: Carney would not say whether President Obama believe it's Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. For nearly a minute, in response to repeated questioning, Carney only says that "our position hasn't changed" and that he hasn't gotten that question in a while. http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/carney-unable-say-capital-israel_649019.html

It’s interesting to note that in concert with this, even BBC Olympics website is unwilling to acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel’s capital saying only that it’s their “seat of government,” then qualifying it further by stating; “though most foreign embassies are in Tel Aviv.” Then, to add insult to injury they even list “East Jerusalem” as the “Intended seat of government” of “Palestine.” No wonder they wouldn’t even so much as acknowledge the 40-year anniversary of 11 Israeli athletes who were murdered during the 1972 Munich Olympics. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/countries/israel

-As hard as that is to wrap your mind around that, Rahm Emanuel, a Jew himself is now very chummy with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

Last Friday, July 27th, JTA a global news service of the Jewish people ran the headline; “Louis Farrakhan and Jewish mayors” in which they reported that, “Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said this week he welcomes the help of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in stopping the surge of violence in Chicago neighborhoods.” http://blogs.jta.org/thearchiveblog/article/2012/07/27/3101906/louis-farrakhan-and-jewish-mayors

-If that weren’t bad enough, Rahm Emmanuel totally snubs Chick-fil-A, because, God forbid, they take a stand for a Biblical definition of marriage. -On Thursday, the Examiner reported on the news story saying this; Rahm Emmanuel: Christian Chick-fil-A bad, anti-Semitic Nation of Islam good. -(Sort of reminds me of what the Bible says about calling good evil, and evil good in the last days.) http://www.examiner.com/article/rahm-emmanuel-christian-chick-fil-a-bad-anti-semitic-nation-of-islam-good

-For those who may be getting a little fearful right about now, you really don’t need to be. Here’s why: “The Lord will take care of us as His Bride.” -Even if the rapture does not precede the collapse of the United States, and even if the rapture does not cause the collapse of the United States. -You’ve heard it said that; “when we don’t know what our future holds, we can know Who holds our future,” especially during the perilous times.

2 Peter 3:10-14 NIV But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. (11) Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives (12) as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. (13) But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. (14) So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
